Settle into your own space for a moment to arrive, exhale, take your time, take off your shoes, find somewhere with an easy feel to consider your intention and, once you’re settled in, join us for a cup of herbal tea as we start to get to know one another.
4PM: Connect Meet & Greet with all of our Ara team
We gather to meet each other, connect and set our intention for our time together.
Then moving into building relationships with the goddesses that will be your family for the weekend. Allowing us to feel safe to share and totally be ourselves. In a playful mini ceremony we ignite what is truly alive in ourselves and each other through awakening all the senses with breathe, sound and connection activities.
5PM: Opening Circle with Nita
The opening circle is a time to be gently guided into the space, into cohesion with ourselves and with the group, connecting with the purpose of our retreat, resting into quietude, silence and reflection. This is the opportunity to powerfully set the tone for the retreat, both individually and as a collective through our combined intentions and commitment to ourselves.
Throughout history, food has brought people together to sit at tables in sharing communities. Join us for a light vegetarian meal, consisting of Thai curries, rice dishes, salads and condiments.
7PM: Shamanic Voyage with Aurora Heartsong
A Shamanic Voyage is a journey between worlds to meet with, open to and accept the voice of our helping spirits for personal and spiritual unfolding. Meeting with the frequency of the worlds of Non Ordinary Reality entrains us to a vibration that can help dial into our healing fluency with self-assurance and smartly intentioned excellence.
'A weekend spent with these beautiful women is food for the soul. For me, the weekend was dominated by introspection with some gentle pushes and important call outs that forced me to delve more honestly into the core of my issue. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so safe to explore my deepest insecurities and motivations. Somehow, I walked away both lighter and better grounded.'

7AM: AlKemise Sunrise Dance with Kye
Awaken and AlKemise the senses early with a fun, uplifting, easy to follow dance class. Focus on joy, honouring the body and releasing fixations. Be sure to bring both of your left feet.

9:15AM: MindBody Connection Workshop with Amy
Experience how your MINDBODY CONNECTION WORKS and how it effects your mind, your body and your life.
Understand How your thoughts and words shape your body, health and your life circumstances.
Discover your body personality type and what parts of the body are linked to your emotions.
Remember your own power and how to create your dreams.
Tap into your body wisdom to find your answers, ending with a healing meditation which will transform your life.
12:00 Noon: Lunch
Let’s gather around a table and share a selection of our own love-filled homemade dishes that taste like cuddles.
2PM: Breath Work Journey with Amy
“As the Sanskrit words reverberated within and around us, I felt a complete sense of interconnectedness and oneness. Breathwork supports so many of the challenges everyone experiences. It reduces stress, creates feelings of openness, love, peace, gratitude, clarity, communication, and connection. Breathwork also helps release trauma or mental, physical, and emotional blocks, as well as anxiety, depression, fear, grief, and anger.
3PM: Restorative Yoga with Jo
As the name suggests, this style of yoga “restores” the body to its parasympathetic nervous system function, which, in turn, helps the body rest, heal, and restore balance. By allowing time for longer asanas (postures or poses) and deeper breathing, restorative yoga helps elicit the relaxation response.
4:30PM: What do you need right now? Time to reset? Connection? Support?
This is an opportunity to relax, journal, swim and/or enjoy some time doing exactly what you need.
Tonight, we’ll enjoy a delicious vegetarian Ayurvedic feast. The Ayurvedic diet has been practiced for thousands of years. It’s based on determining your dominant dosha and eating specific foods to promote balance between all three doshas. It emphasizes eating whole foods and encourages mindful eating to promote a healthy relationship with food.
7PM Sacred Sharing Circle with Nita
Cave art and other ceremonial relics suggest that human beings have gathered in sacred circles to hear stories and pass down traditions and worship, for more than 30,000 years. Women gathered on lunar and menstrual cycles. These were opportunities for intergenerational connection, where collective wisdom regarding the transition into womanhood, one’s role in community, and how to use plants for medicine, would be imparted.
Before sharing, Nita will gently direct us within, to reflect on what brought each of us to this retreat―to this moment―to our intention. A sharing circle is a safe space to reveal what is alive in each of us, to deeply listen to others and a beautiful way to begin to connect with this sacred circle of women.

7AM: Morning Yoga with Jo
Jo‘s classes focus on moving your body with your breath to help to focus your mind. The poses flow through stretch and release and help to build core strength. The aim is to leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Join us for a delicious, healthy, tropical buffet.
9AM: Raw Chocolate & Nourishing Plant Medicine Workshop with Shelley
Learn how to make delicious nurturing raw chocolate and medicinal drinking chocolate. Together we will explore the benefits of Cacao and some other important plants that support and nourish women’s health.
10:30AM: What do you need right now? Time to reset? Connection? Support?
This is an opportunity to book a one-on-one session with one of our practitioners and/or enjoy some time doing whatever you need.
With the beach a short walk from the door and infinity pool down the street, a journal calling you to pick up a pen, a pool recliner chair inviting you to doze with a book, Oracle Card Readings taking place and the chance to indulge in private healing treatments―it’s going to be a tough choice.
Join us for a Mediterranean buffet-style lunch. Mediterranean eating patterns draw together the common food types and healthful eating habits from the traditions of several different regions, including Greece, Spain, southern France, Portugal, and Italy. There is an emphasis on plant foods, olive oil, fish, poultry, beans, and grains and studies suggest that people who follow the Mediterranean diet have a lower risk of various diseases, including obesity, diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular disease. They are also more likely to enjoy a longer life than people in other regions.
3:00 PM: Closing Circle
This final sacred circle is an opportunity to reflect upon and speak to our experience of the weekend, to reflect upon our lives outside of the retreat, our vision and intention going forward and an opportunity to seal our connection with one another.
It is said that the heroine’s journey differs from the hero’s journey, because the heroine is already rooted in place, her journey is simply a return to herself.
